This is fantastic to hear, farming is making its comeback in Massachusetts. We are no farmer, but for our first year we have grown tomatoes, zucchinis, yellow squashes, green beans and lettuce and it's very fun, and easy to do. I can see how second career changers can get a passion for it... the thing is, and most importantly, people in Massachusetts want to eat better and stop at markets and stands to buy fresh local products. Way to go.

This is a great model.

One thing i did was adding a metallic screen, a little bit bigger than a mosquito net, which i fixed with screws and bolts at the bottom of the composter to block any mice or chipmunks from entering it... It costs me less than $5 to do that, don't buy the net they are upselling, you can do it for a lot cheaper like i did.

We are more than happy with this model, it is a bit expensive but it works amazingly well, 2-3 mths in, we already have compost and looking forward to spread it in our garden this Fall and next Spring.
